all the motors I have had my local OMC man<br />surprisingly said they run 50-1. They werent like yours tho. Running with more oil is good for the engine, the only disadvantage is that it fouls plugs. You cannot hurt anything but the plugs with an oily mix. On my motors that I was told to use 50-1 with, I would always add another dollup making it probably 35, 40-1 ish. There was no difference in performance and that little of an addition didnt even make a difference on the plugs. But I sleep easier because I know thats less wear and tear on the engine.<br />Should be getting some more qualified answers soon<br />Craig
