Please tell us why you want a new starter and solenoid, tysdad.
Three out of five replaced starters were not broke. I would hate to see you waste money replacing that stuff if your true problem is battery or wiring connected.

Well I am about to walk out the door for work But I will tell you that I did take the boat to my best friend that is a marine tech he checked the compression in all cyclinders and it is 120 when he pulled it by rope twices so that is a good thing and he said it needs a new stater and selenoid...my stater has been bad for a long time now... i went to the lake the other day thinkin i was gunna take the baby for a ride and could get the boat started well after about the 10th try everything quit and the stater was hot as hell and could sell it and the thing that comes out of the starter and goes to flywell was stuck in the up position ...so ya it burnt up the selenoid and starter ....i'll keep you updated on the outcome...I was just wanting to make sure this is the right starter for my motor...i would hate to get the starter and have to send it back...Only reason i am ordering the parts is b/c i could get them cheaper...he would have to pay retail basically...
