Best place to buy Force Remote Controls (parts)?

Today I launch the boat on the lake and attempt to start the motor. It is cranking and cranking with no hopes of starting (it's done this before). So I go to open the throttle for high idle, via the neutral cold-start mechanism (pulling out the lever and pressing forward). For whatever reason the throttle plate wasnt opening and I ended up snapping the the lever too far forward and it spun completely to the bottom 180 degrees from neutral. A piece of plastic cracked off the back and I knew my day was over.

SO that is the story and now I am looking for the replacement parts but I realize these devices are not cheap. Does anyone have any advice on buying parts or the whole thing or cheap sources, and alternatives? I've been looking on ebay and etc...but hoping to get some support from the insiders on here.

thank you

I think what I broke was the dwell plate. I'm looking at the Morse owners manual.

I also broke the same thing on my control box the other day, and I used liquid nails to glue it back together. Seems to be fine now. I agree that the parts are hard to find. You might want to check your control cables as well. I discovered that the reason my control box broke was because the throttle control cable was sticking, and putting more pressure on the plastic parts of the control box than there needed to be. Replaced the cable and the glued part and it is smooth as silk now.

hmmm. I worry about pasting it back together, but it's probably worth a try. I just wish there was some sort of back-up "manual" method to control the motor in case something breaks. That way I dont get out there and get stranded when the stupid thing snaps again.
