You're there. iboats.com can sell you the part.

However, think again about this. Apparently, your VRO pump is working, since the plugs are wet with gas and oil.

Tell us what your outboard is doing and we might be able to help you solve your problem.

First disconnect the VRO and mix you own gas to 50-1 and see if that makes the differance This will help your trouble shooting into the new vro pump. Then if you really want to spend the bucks on the new vro you can, I would not I would just mix. Check other posts for the disconneting of the pump.
steve

Jimcav

Everything the VRO does, then goes thru the carb. If you are getting too much mix into the cylinders it's a carb problem.

Read the FAQs at the begining of the forum for the skinny on VRO.

That is not a vro problem symptom.

Sounds more like one or more carbs are running too rich. Maybe float valve stuck open or jetting messed up. Another problem could be the linkage is not set up correctly. Linkage controls timing advance in relation to butterfly opening. If these are out-of-synch, then the motor can be running rich due to not enough advance at open throttle. Was a "link & synch" done after carb rebuild?
