Best place to find a Quadrajet?

I have a mercruiser 488. I need a "good" new or used Quadrajet that "really" works the way it should. I have tried a rebuild kit and it didn't help. I understand they are prone to issues but that is the only 4 bbl available for that motor im told.

No expert on this engine and I try to stay away from questions about it, but it is my understanding that the 488 is another name for a 470

One idea is to use the OEM part number and search it online and EBay, etc..

I have heard that remanufactured quads are not allways good. I would rather by brand new or a rebuild from a pro that knows the ins and outs of that carb. Im told that many have a warped part inside. When I throttle up, I don't see any streams of fuel even though the new accel pump and kit was added. I have tried all the adjustments as well, so rather than monkey around, ill just buy one that I know is good from the get go.
