Best place to find used outboard

I am on Long Island NY and would like any input on where to find a used outboard around 100hp.Maybe some upstate NY newspapers???No luck on iboats or here on Long Island.Any input would be appreciated.Charlie

Everything on iboats go for 45-5000 and up.Too much for me.This is a second boat for me,I would like to but I cant spend that much.Charlie

Charlie, What kind of boat are you looking for? Salt water or fresh water? Large/small? I have a 16 1/2 ft fish and ski with a 75HP Chrysler that runs perfect, for sale... but I am located in Massachusetts. Wasn't sure if that was too far a haul for you. Try the website noreast.com and go to the discussion boards. They have for sale area. A lot of the guys on the board are from long island as well. Good luck.

Thanks guys i will check out those sites.By the way 698,I have a boat,i am looking for a motor similar to what I have a mid 80s to 90 evinrude-jonhson around 100 hp...Charlie
