Best place to get Upholstery

[JKEP44]

I am currently looking for material to recover all of the seats and siding on a recently purchased Bayliner 2150 capri. I would like to know what materials (I.E. nawgahyde, vynil, ect.) and any special tools that might be required and where are good places to get them. Any help will be greatly appreciated as this will be my first time/attempt to reupholster a boat. Thanks

Try ebay for marine upholstery. have seen carpet, canvas and marine vinyl there.

I've found a Good selection,+ Very Good Prices,.. Over Here,........... <br />Just Looking Around will give you some Ideas on types of fabrics,+ techniques........

rochford supply in minneapolis has been good to me. http://www.rochfordsupply.com/ <br /><br />What colors do you need? I overestimated the vinyl on my project, in white and blue.

Save yourself the time. Nathe is right, rochford supply has it all. However, plan on getting a real upholstery fine wire stapler and some fine wire stainless steel staples. You can get a good one for $50.00. THere are two stores that had them for $50.00 and they are online. Search for FIne WIre 22 guage 3/8 staplers. I swear I can' tremember the name or I'd give it to you.

I remember.. Floyd Tool. Search for it on the internet. Best price yet on a real good air upholstery stapler, and 10k stainless staples were about $22.00 or so.

We got our upholstery from JoAnn Fabrics. They actually carry marine grade vinyl in several colors....<br /><br />- Scott

I got mine the same place as Chinewalker. My white vinyl (marine grade)was about $7.00/yard
