I was just gifted a 1995 Cajun 2300 Fishmaster with a Johnson 200 on it. It certainly needs some work and I've been putting a lot of work into it in the week I've had it. One of my biggest concerns is that the prop has some minor damage and I want to replace it. It was my friends dad's before he passed away and he has no idea how it acted with the current prop.
What would be your best recommendation for how to select a new prop? Is it worth it just to try and replace or repair the current prop and see if that meets my demands before taking a stab in the dark on a new one? Because unfortunately I cannot test it to get the WOT RPM, GPS speed right now.
