Just bought 2005 210 Reatta with 225 Merc Optimax. Prop seems small because it acts like it wants to cavitate at high RPM's. Granted boat is empty and not loaded yet so it may make difference, however Ranger and Merc give different advice. Merc says 25 pitch 5 blade while Ranger says 23 pitch regardless if it is 3, 4, or 5 blade. Any suggestions? What speed can I expect? Interested in best overall performance, thanks!
