Best prop for a 14' fiberglass deep v with a 9.9?

I just got ahold of the most expensive kind of boat-the free kind It's a 1970s era MFG Carefree 14' that I want to use on the local reservoirs, the two largest ones are restricted to 9.9 HP. Given the HP restriction, what kind of prop should I be looking for in order to get the most out of the boat? I don't hold any illusions that I'm going to be getting up on plane, I'd just like it to be able to get out of its own way.

Is it a true Deep V with an 15 to 20 degree V all the way to the transom?
Weight is about 475 What year 9.9? What kind of load? I would consider ripping everything out that doesn't affect the integrity of the hull.Standard prop is a 9 1/2 X 10.The best thing would be to run it with the present prop(tell us the size) near the base of the blades or under the prop nut.
Get us the rpm(tinytach),speed, gps. Without that a detailed description.
Carry as little weight as possible.You will likely want to put the tank in the bow.Be sure the motor is in excellent tune and the throttle opens all the way.Trim carefully.If you run by yourself you may need a tiller extension to get you in the middle seat.

I think so but I'm not sure-I should clarify that this is a free boat I'm getting from my neighbor-right now it's sitting in his yard on a trailer having been out of the water for four years. In terms of load it's going to be about 450lbs (Me, wife, dog) of passengers plus a small cooler and grill. I think the plate says that the maximum total weight of passengers, gear, and motor is 950lbs, but it also says that the boat will handle up to a 40 HP. This boat is going to be gutted to the shell and built back up again, so that will give me an opportunity to eliminate any non-essential weight. I was just trying to get some kind of ballpark idea.

Its just going to putt around so not worth looking for 1-2 mph

One or two mph could be the difference of planing or not.
If your stripping out the boat you can work on good balance and keep it on a tiller to save weight and space.Run the motor as high as possible and if you work on the transom set it up like a jack plate for fine tuning the height.
