You are going to get a lot of opinions on this one. I just replaced mine (in mercruiser 3.0) and the previous owner had Champions in it, and I replaced it with NGKs. Good luck. ;)

Re: best spark plugs

Never had a problem with the AC's in my 350 (called for).
I seem to have terrible luck with Champs in the Harleys, (fine for the lawn mowers)
I have become a heavy fan of NGK though. Run fine Harleys and dirtbikes, the small outboards.
NGK BR6FS is the AC/cross..
A chart..

I've been using NGK BR6FS in place of ac-delco MR43T for 3 years and haven't had a problem.

I have OEM now but my next set will be NGK Iridium's. Simply for longer change interval.
