Best tower for the buck?

Lookin' to get a tower. Have my eye on the the aerial ascent. Good price but hear some negative feedback. Anybody have one that has somethin' good to say about it? Also any other recomendations? Would like to spend about a grand w/ racks. The ascend runs just about $500+ and they offer a package, tower, (2) racks, speakers, and harness under $1400. What do you guys think?

The price of the tower is in direct correlation to the quality of the outcome. In other words, you get what you pay for. The last thing you want on your boat is a rattle trap flimsy tower that cracks the gel coat at the mounts. Check out Samson, not so much for the tower as it sounds like you do not want to spend what they cost but they have a great video that describes the installation process and what to look for in a tower. My boat had a tower on it when I purchased it and it is a great addition to the boat.
