Does anybody have a favorite wax/product that gives a good wet look in automotive paint. I have a 12 year old car i'm trying to clean up a bit. The paint has water stains and usually 12 year old scratches in it that i'd like to hide. Anybody have any personal experience with a good product?

I like the Honda Glare. Its sold at most Honda streetbike dealers and is mainly used for Goldwings.

On an old paint job, start with a clay bar and plenty of water. Clay the whole car (even the glass, but stay away from plastic) and it will remove all the sap, tar, and rough junk from the finish.

Then buff the Glare into the paint as the directions tell you. Do a second coat of Glare too (the second coat can be applied/removed just like a traditional wax).

The results are amazing! I even use the Glare on the boat.
