Best way sell complete or part out?

What would be the best thing to do with a Chrysler outboard? I have a 1972 130 horse that has low compression on the #1 cylinder. There are some scuff marks in the cylinder. I have replaced the engine with another complete unit. I have the engine with power tilt, controls and cables and harness complete. Has new ignition on it. Spare prop and extra starter. Would I be better off to sell it complete or part it out? Also where to sell? I checked ebay and not much selling now.

Also the engine will run fine at an idle. It just does not make much power on the take off. Once on a plane it seems OK

when at ebay type in chrysler outboards as your shearch. I just checked and it has over 600 hits

I would part it out. It is going to be tough to find parts to repair that beast. Too bad because in its day it was a nice motor. Play around on ebay and get a feel for how the pros are doing it then start selling parts. If you sell the motor as is you should disclaim that one unit is fried. My guess after telling people that you will be lucky to get 50 bucks for it.
