What is the best way to fix leaking rivets if you have access to both sides?...I have aircraft mechanic training and am comfortable with a rivet gun and a bucking bar, however is drilling out and replacing the rivet with an oversized one necessary if the old one isn't damaged?...seems like I could rebuck the old one .....also considered the stainless steel screw and washer/locknut method but am concerned with dissimilar metal corrosion...that was a big no no when working on airplanes...any thoughts??????

I'm not a tinny guy, but I do know that most here just rebuck loose rivets and then coat all the seams with Gluvit. From what I've read (not from experience, as I'm a glasser guy) this seems to take care of all leaking seams and rivet problems.
