Voltmeter pegged past 16 volts, measured 30 volts across battery terminals. Afraid to blow up battery. Bad regulator or retifier? Otherwise, engine is running great and all eletronics work.
Update:
Mechanic came out, checked everything and said charging system was OK, put the gauge was bad. I put my meter back on and got 14V with engine running. I am puzzled. Maybe it is an intermittent problem?
