I goal is to shorten my 15hp sail boat motor (which was my dads, which has the additional 5-6" extension section in) to just a long shaft. I would love to get rid of the extension plate and replace the shift rods and drive shaft (and cut the water tube--or replace). Does anyone have a source the parts for this motor? I have made a jack plate on my LOWE duck boat to help get this lengthy beast from digging' clams! The motor is still a little too long for my liking, even with the jack plate, and would like to shortenen it. Seriously, any help finding parts would be greatly appreciated. R-
