Some have commented on another thread I have but I wanted to take a second to thank you. I had been struggling getting my motor to lock into forward, reverse and still find neutral. I had adjusted everything I could think of and I knew this was a throw issue but could not find the half inch i was missing. I knew my cables were good they are new. I knew I could get the motor to lock in both gears so the gears are not rounded. It had to be in the control box....or so I thought....So i searched these forums with "control box throw" as keywords and came across this thread here, I knew in an instant after I read Frank's reply that my problem would soon be solved. :D I followed Franks instructions and bang problem solved. :DYou even answered the question I had about why the throttle cable end was spring loaded. Geez, man....;)

So Again Thank You Frank, you are an asset to the forum and your knowledge has helped me on more than one occasion. The part you sent me works great also, thanks for that too.

Re: Big thanks to Frank A

I'll second that.
Maybe Iboats could come up with a reward or contest or similar and give out a discount prize or similar for any forum member who renders the most assistance to his iboaters and we could all vote on it and nominate candidates.
It would bring to light some very good members and the benefit of having a productive forum such as Iboats which allows all of us to keep our boats running while we are a' learnin'.;)My two bits.
