I'll assume you have the 17 footer.
I believe it is rated at 85 hp. If it has had poor care you may allready be on the edge power wise.A 150 is out of the question both legally and
structurally. I would suggest::be sure the motor is in excellent tune,with a carefully selected prop,motor setup ideal especially height.Raise to a point just before venting (cavitation)becomes a problem. Bottom clean and smooth.If you want 150 hp performance you'll need a boat rated for 150.
I believe the Force is rated at the power head and other motors after 1985 are rated at the prop so another brand 85 will put 85 at the prop. probably 5-10 more than the Force.
