What are the different size props that can be run on a 99 15hp merc. (2 stroke). Also if you could list what each size will do for a pretty heavy boat setup. thanks
Hey Bassman, iboats has a great prop selector tool on this site. Just type in all your motor info and it will show you what will fit your motor. If the boat is pretty heavy you will want a prop in one of the smaller available pitches. The only way to be sure of the proper pitch is by testing. i am running a 9 p that is what the stamp on the prop says. the boat doesnt do to bad by myself but add a partner and his gear it just slugs. the motor sounds like it has plenty of power but it just slugs along
