Bigtwin 35 year

I'm looking at an Evinrude 35 hp bigtwin thats been sitting in a garage collecting dust for over 15 years. Serial # is 25035 - 01364. <br />From this website it looks like a 1957 model with the duel line fuel fitting for a pressuried fuel tank.<br />Would the serial number confirm a 57 model ????

Evinrude model 25035 is a 1958 35hp. If you have doubts, the '58 model has a thermostat in the head, underneath a plate held on by three screws. The '57 does not.<br /><br /> 1958 Evinrude Catalog
