Bilg pump that gets close to boat bottom

I have a 21 walk around with an old bilge pump. Not sure what it is as its tight down in there. Buts its HUGE, and doesnt pump close to the bottom. I dont get alot of water (some thru a back hatch to be replaced) but when I pump, it never gets down to the bottom.

Is there any types/brands that get pretty close to the bottom?
