New owner of a 2000 22' Trophy walk around notices that water is not draining from under the cabin deck. The pvc drain pipe that goes from under the cabin deck to the stern of the boat is clogged about 20" into the pipe.
I tried to open/move this blockage with compressed air and a water jet, but it does not move.
I wonder if I should use a long drill to open the pipe because the fuel tank is located toward this direction.

Thanks for the replies.

I tried with a snake and a stiff wire, it feels like wood or something hard is lodged within this tube. This is a HARD blockage. I am thinking of using a long drill or a piece of rebar and a hammer.

Also, instead of trying to open this drain I was thinking of putting a bilge pump with an auto switch to pump out the accumulated water.

Any thoughts?
