bilge pump hose routing on a 70's Starcraft SS?

I had been thinking that I could just route the bilge pump hose out the back of my 77 Starcraft SS, but the transom board spans the entire width of the boat and I'm hesitant to drill through it. Honestly, I'm hesitant to make any additional holes. I saw where one person put an outlet through one side of the boat. Any suggestions or other options?

Why do you not want to run it out the side? That's the most logical place to go with it. Through hull fittings are available every where.

I'm not entirely opposed to more holes, but they are hard to undo. I guess I'm kind of wondering if anyone has done something creative. Perhaps something over the splash well (although that could look very tacky).

Mine is routed out the side of the boat on the port side...... You could route it into the spashwell and let it drain out the back holes.

Looks like the easiest solution will be to route it to one side.

Did you guys run it to straight (thru-hull) outlet fittings, or did you use 90 degree thru-hull fittings (since it seems like a bit of a tight squeeze)?

Mine is a straight one but I also have PLENTY of room. You may need a 90.
