I can not get my bilge pump to work.
I have a two position switch..one standby and the other manual. Neither work. The pump works when I connect it directly to the battery so its not the pump. I have power at the switch and I tested the circuit breaker and it works fine(power goes thur).
Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated
Thanks

Re: Bilge Pump Issues

You have Power/Voltage AT the switch.

Do you have Voltage LEAVING the switch? (12v)
Do you have Voltage ARRIVING at the pump? (12v)
Is the return side of the pump truly grounded? (0v)

With the switch in "STANDBY", Does it run if submerged or the float is manually raised?

What Pump Make/Model?

Good advice here. Check those things and you will know what the problem is. My suspicion is a broken wire, but the Fluke (voltmeter) will tell the tale.
