JUST getting around to this "fix".. I was looking at the boat yesterday & wondered "IF" the channel "stop" at the forward end needs to be a solid stopping point for the forward support or the bimini. I read somewhere that many Adventures have the same problem, "Bimini stop when stowed- interferes with the outboard trimmed all the way up".. Has anyone come up with a better fix ? The only thing I think of is extending the side channels forward another foot- unless that would stop the top from standing up securely.. That would allow the supports to slide forward enough for the top ( when rolled up) to clear the motor when its trimmed all the way up.
I sure hope I am explaining this correctly..
Thanks for the tips;

(original post below)
:rolleyes: I have an OEM Bimini top on my 2000 Adventure. I am looking for a section of the "TRACK" or "CHANNEL" and a couple of the end caps.

My plan is to extend the front of each channel as much as possible- so I can slide the Bimini more forward when stowed to clear the motor area and give the fisherman on the rear deck more room. As of now, I have the top OFF the boat & in the garage, but would rather have it with the boat should it rain or when sun get too hot.

No rush, just another mod I'd like to do to my boat over the winter.

Anyone know where I could get a matching channel ? Thanks for any assistance.. Bill

*** I seen on another post, a link to a parts site.. Tomorrow I will check if this "side track" is the same as my OEM.. (thanks for the link )

The only thing I think of is extending the side channels forward to allow the supports to slide forward another foot so the stowed bimini would clear the outboard -when the motor is trimmed all the way up (while trailering).

Re: Bimini Parts wanted !

Bimini Mod complete ! The top when stowed was on the rear fishing platform (in the way). I relaced the channels ( 8" longer forward) now the top when stowed lays down on the deck up against the rear elevated casting deck. I will post pictures in a couple of days when I pull the boat out of the garage to go fishing :)
