Found a not-so-good review...

"Comments about Carver Bimini Top Rocket Launcher:
Within 4 months this thing fell apart literally all parts made of plastic failed.I called carver and got no help. They didn't offer replacement parts . No Product support, BEWARE!Save the [$] and spend it on somthing you can really use.Sorry, but I wouldn't buy another product with the name Carver Industries attatched."

I just saw another thread on this... ill try to find it again... Someone was asking the same thing. From what i read it is good to store poles out of the way but dont troll with it as its weak and will rip right off. Will edit if i find that thread

EDIT: Found it! http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=535573&highlight=troll

I asked that hahaha...Yeah I saw that review as well Q4 stan....but when I contacted carver they told me the guy that wrote that when returned for warranty was all bent up like he was trolling for something heavy. The way it works it simply just sits there when the bimini top is folded. When the bimini is laid down flat they said depending on the boat it may have some issue but how many times is your bimini laid flat?

Why would anyone try trolling with the trolled rods stuck in that light weight "storage" rack

Personally, that rack isn't my cup of tea. The additional support tubes would get in the way while fighting a fish, not only do you have to avoid the bimini frame "V" and front straps, now you have 2 additional support tubes to get in the way. I should say, I don't use the bimini all that often, so that rod rack would be kind of useless for me. It might be a perfect fit for some people though, especially if you don't have any existing rod storage or additional room to put rod storage on the boat...

Well in the case of a tahoe boat ours already has rear support bars there for it to hold onto
