Just purchased a Westland bimini from iboats for my Larson, want to upgrade to rear support poles, I saw taylormade makes an adjustable one, are these generally all universal from bimini top brand to brand? im sure most bimini manufactures use the same O.D pipe, thats why I was leaning toward support poles being universal Westland makes some that are solid non adjustable.

Yes, they're pretty universal, at least for 7/8'" tubing. What you're probably looking at are support tubes for use when the bimini is stowed, might work for deployed tops ... ;)

To be honest I think you would be better served getting the fixed set, they are cleaner looking after they are installed and the adjustables will move over time, either way will work though, just a personal preference more then anything, the important part is the ends more then the OD of the tube though so long as they are compatible your all set.

I have the westland bimini and I got the support poles for them. I went with the rigid ones and haven't looked back. I guess you could also call them "adjustable" as you adjust how long you want the poles to be by cutting it to length.
