Bimini Top ?

Hello,
I'm a first time boater and last fall bought a used boat. It is a 96 Sea Ray 175 with a 4.3 Merc. The boat is clean and I'm very happy with it. The boat has a Joystick wake board tower. Basically looks like a big roll bar. I want to add a bimini top and attach it to the vertical posts. In the closed position I plan on securing it to the bottom of the horizontal part, out of the way. Does this plan make sense? I'm open to any suggestions and ideas. I can post a picture if someone tells me how to. Thanks in advance.

To post pictures, just upload them to a free account on a site like www.shutterfly.com, open up the full size picture on shutterfly, right click on the picture and select properties to find the URL of the photo, copy the URL into a post here and bookend it with IMG and /IMG tags like these:

I posted a photo of the text because if I type the IMG and /IMG tags in this post with the brackets on them, they will not show up as text.

You’ll probably get a better response on a different forum. Try www.wakeworld.com. Use the “discussion” link at the top and then select the “Boats and Boat Accessories” link. NOT AN ADVERTISMENT OR ENDORSEMENT. These guys are into all kinds of customization and modification specifically dealing with wake boarding stuff like towers. They always bring up stuff like this.
