Let me start, this may be a weird question. I am in the market to buy a new bimini top and I have noticed alot of them are really tall where others have a sleek lower profile (I would prefer to have the lower profile bimini top). What are the standard heights between these? Is it 36"?

Re: bimini tops.

Google is definately your friend here.

Bimini tops will get you plenty of reading material to keep you going for days.

From the basic "pre-made" biminis, offered on places such as Cabelas, to high end, custom fabricators.
The world is your oyster!!

Take a seat in your boat and figure out how much your willing to bend or stoop over, to get out from under that top.
Obviously, the lower the top, the more your going to have to stoop over to get forward or aft.

Mine's pretty high, since 99% of the time I am standing while underway. My boat came with a factory bimini/camper. It's worthless to me because it snaps right to the windshield, even sitting I have to duck a bit.

I am looking at different bimini tops also trying to decide what I am looking for. If you search or go back a couple pages the other day their was a post about bimini owners get in here or something like that, that has alot of post and pictures in it with information.

Hey that was my thread !
I'm still debating, I'll bring that thread back, it does have good pics, and I'm still holding out to see an 8'er on a 20' bowrider.
