Can a 2004 binnacle mount omc control work with a 1978 70 hp Johnson? Only interested in the throttle and shifter. We have the harness and plug all set
Don't see why conventional cables would not work on a mechanical shift outboard. If you could get the electricals set up, not sure what the issues are with the shift and throttle. Insufficient reach an issue, maybe?
