Bit of corrosion on DPS - should volvo cover?

I have an 2008 Gxi DPS and there is a little bit of bubbling/corrosion on the lower outdrive near the prop.

I've mentioned it to the dealer and they say "it's normal for a volvo" but they tell me a lot of things.

Is this something I should push for on warranty or is it truly something I shouldn't worry about?

Ask a dealer. Doesn't matter what anyone here thinks, or even what the dealer thinks. The dealer will have to do some testing before Volvo will make a determination.

I did ask the dealer and they said it was "normal for a volvo". Can't see how any corrosion on a trailer queen boat with 60 hours would be normal. From what I've searched here I can't get a conclusive answer.

My dealer is proving to be lazy and just blows things off. Recently I asked them to fix 2 things (one for the 2nd time). They fixed neither and sent me a $400 bill.

Problem is not much alternative around here.

Call Volvo directly, you should have a warranty booklet that came with your boat that has the phone numbers.
