Ok, I put sea foam in July 1st. and also put in a full tank with it. It smoked black smoke when first starting it up(about 45sec.) but was fine the rest of the day. took it out last week same thing, just got back 4pm today same thing. 2 Questions, I pump the throttle 4 times then crank her to start and then exhaust smells like gas big time and is black.? #2 never did it when I don't pump the throttle, I think the electric fuel pump before carb primed the carb for me and started just fine with out pumping throttle. Am I making any sense??

You must be young and never had a car with a carb before, it's not fuel injection. The choke is electic and will choke the engine when the electric choke coil is cold (Shut off for more than 15 minutes. It's normal.
Wire the choke wide open and it won't smoke. Course it won't run worth a darn when it's cold and you will have to goose the trottle to keep it running for the first couple of minutes, but you'll learn.

Thanks Don, I know I can always depend on your straight forward responses that I have learned to depend on:D. So its normal, She runs great after I let her run the first 5-7minutes while I put the truck/trailer up at the parking lot come back she is purring by then and no smoke. That's what I needed to know!! Thanks again >>Pat
