Trying to sell the boat and nobody wants to buy it smoking. Already put a new set of plugs, wires, cap, rotor button, fuel filter and fresh premium fuel. When you crank the thing up it smokes black and white smoke and smells rich. It leaves a huge puddle of black silt in the water. Does anybody have the adjustment settings for the carb so I can check to see if the previous owner messed with it or do I have other problems? I used Autolight #25 plugs as well cause thats what came out of it. Was that a dumb mistake?

Pull your plugs and see what they look like. Check your carb. and see what make carb. it is and then do a search on the internet to see how the mixture is done on that carb.

Plugs are wet and black. Its the original carb and Im almost sure its not been messed with before. If it ran old gas through it and had old gas sit in it, would that make it dump too much fuel?

Wet plugs and black smoke are from a rich condition..usually the carb will need rebuilt.
It would help to post the year, make and model of the engine and drive..
