black/yellow kill wire 1970 evinrude 115 hp ??

Does this exist on this motor? I see no black/yellow wire at all. Can't find anything stating kill switch in the manuel.

Black/yellow is not applicable to this motor. It has a Prestolite "Pulse Pack" CD system, powered by the boat battery. A somewhat complex system with a "safety circuit" to turn it on and avoid accidental starting. Anyway, bottom line is that it is killed by simply turning off the key which kills the voltage to the safety circuit (purple wire).

thanks for the info, did you see my other post concerning spark no spark spark no spark pattern this has caused me. Now after the 4th time with no spark it doesn't refire.
