Bleed lines full of fuel

1986 Johnson GT 200 model J200STLCDR. Bleed lines are full of fuel, dumping gas back into cylinder, causing low spark and flooding. What is causing this. I can see where the case has been opened befor. All carbs are 398394 with 62d jets.

Cylinders affected are all on stsrboard side, numbers 1,3, & 5

compression is good and spark is good (when bleed lines not feeding back in)

Those are "recirc" lines. Any unburnt fuel/oil mixture that collects in the bottom of the intake gets "sucked" into the recirc lines where it goes into the cylinder to be burned.

Found problem.....Theres a fitting/vent between the two middle carbs. Diagram shows that it is suposed to be plugged, but mine had no plug. After plugginging it, sems to have solved the problem,.but havent lake tested yet
