I replaced the shockrod cylinder (a.k.a. hydraulic shock)tilt trim motor.300 bucks later.now i have to evidently bleed the system.I'm trying to get it to raise up and down of course.
however its no cooperating at all.its not budging.I hit the auto trim button, raise it up manually and try pushing back down.i open the drain line and i can hear air comming out and the motor drops down completely.Am i bleeding this thing correctly?Anybody with suggestions?
thanks

if the system is working then all you have to do is fill it with oil and then cycle it up and down a few times. it is self bleeding. After the cylinders have filled with fluid top off the resevoir.
