Boat is new to us this spring. We are wrapping up a weeks vacation, using the boat several times a day. Seems I learn something new each day. There has been an odd beeping sound. Very soft. Very intermittent. No pattern. We have an Evinrude VRO. I was thinking the beeping was the alarm hooked to oil injection, possibly going off in error (figure it would alarm steady if there was a issue).
Today though I heard it when we were stopped. Motor off!
What the heck? Finally figured out is was the alarm linked to the fish finder letting us know when there were fish below the boat ( not the depth alarm).:facepalm:
We all had a good laugh at my mysterious "mechanical" problem.
