A friend of mine just purchased a boat and motor, only the motor on the boat was knowingly bad in that the top piston was toast. The numbers on the motor are as follows: Evinrude 60 hp 3 cylinder Model # TE60TLESM . From what I can gather this is a 1990 model. Once the head was removed, I noticed the motor had previously been rebuilt. The bottom two pistons were .020 over and the top piston is a .040 over piston. Question...... What is the maximum recommended boring diameter of this block. Is it recommended or NOT advisable to go .060 over with this block? Thanks in advance for any help you guys can offer.................
