Winterizing my 1984 Merc 140. Want to make sure I don't miss a drain plug, whatever I did before the block cracked (unless it was cracked when I bought it,). I put a new engine in, everything running great and want to keep it that way. I found three plugs ( which are the ones I drained before) 1) is on the side of the block, like a T handle, below the carb towards the rear; 2) is on the bottom of the manifold almost directly above #1 and 3) is on the bottom of the U shaped exhaust piece. Did I miss any? A steady stream of water came out of 1 and 2, but very little from 3. Should I leave the plugs out or reinstall? Should I fill with antifreeze? I'm in NW PA and the boat will be stored in a freezing environment.

If the unit has power steering you will need to drain the cooler the rest sounds alright some people remove the large hose on the w/pump on the front of the engine in most cases there is no water present
