I just replaced the outdrive and bellows last year put it in last spring found the block had a canyon ij ust got the replacement block and need the torque for everything crank and up i thought the might be a link to mercs manua
thanks for info where is #7 book? Thh motor came out of 88 pichup bad oil usage the boat is just like new everything i want to transfer the boat 4.3 into new block recomendations?

You've got Alot of Measuring,+ Mic-ing to see if your donor Block is In Spec for the Internals of the Boat motor.......
My Guess is the Pickup motor Bores are going to be Out of Round,+ Need Machining Anyways......
You might want to bring Both of them to a Machine Shop,+ Ask them to build 1 motor out of Both........
