block year modle

ok guys i have a 90s modle fuel injected 150 merc thet i aquired that is blown i also got another good block crank and rods but need 2 pistons and rod bearing but the block and crank and rods are a diff year modle the pistons a a lil diff between the 2 idk what year the motor eas the block came of of is there any way to figure it out?

Sounds like you got a 2.5 and a 2.0 liter, what casting numbers on rods as one is top guided and other is bottom guided
