Hey guys!
i finally got my starcraft in the water on saturday and all ran fine! everything went smooth.. in love with the mercruiser! well then i get it home and was playing with it and my blower is not working! nothing at all, i went to test the wires and my test light is saying both of the wires are grounds? any idea what this could be? i cant find any fuse panel on the boat.. kinda odd!

Re: Blower Motor not working

when you tested the line, did you have the motor connected? if so that does make sense, since they would make it to ground.

Do not know the year, but likely the motor is gone. try to spin it, see if that may 'free it up'

if not try a voltmeter and see if there is voltage when you turn on the switch.

they are cheap, but important.

First check your fuse and make sure it hasn't blown. Then use a voltmeter and measure the voltage both with the ground of the voltmeter touching the battery and with the ground of the meter touching the return wire of the blower. Both should read 12V.
