While still in the "learning my boat"-stage this week, I decided to investigate why the blower was popping the fuse (fair enough, was informed before I bought the boat). Turns out, there was a piece of black foam sucked-up into it and putting quite a load of resistance on the fan motor, thus blowing the fuse. Works great now. My question is, where is the best place to locate the flex ducting around the engine to draw the vapors out (it was slung over the steering rods that connect to the stern). Towards the top of the engine, behind the engine, or, does it really matter as long as it's near the engine?
Thanks guys (and/or gals!! :D)!!

This will get moved to Boat topics..
But as low as possible in the bottom of the bilge.
Fuel vapors are heavy, and will accumolate there.

Yes true, But one thought to add, ya wanna keep it high enough so the hose cant get submerged in bilge water, Water will act as a plug.....Ya could get blowed up....
