blown fuse on a 1973, 50 hp jonhson

I have a 1973, 50 hp johnson that keeps blowing fuses. Model 50esl3r, serial c6786 can anyone out there help me out with a wiring diagram, or such like. Im new to the boating world and could really use some help. thank you

The generic service manuals sold by iboats have schematics in them pedroofn. Having a Service Manual good idea anyhow. <br /><br />If the fuse your poppin' is on the engine, I would take a look at the shape of the wire harness. Wire insulation still good? When does the fuse pop?
