Boat and patience are sinking - help!!

Hi guys - I have been tracking this leak down for a couple of days now and it is driving me crazy - Here is what I know for sure - Any help would be GREATLY Appreciated -

Vovlo Penta 5.0 Gxi SX Drive
Does not leak when motor is off
Does not leak when motor is idling
Only leaks when cruising
Leak can be seen pooling/originating around the drain plug hole
Speedometer is working

Any thoughts......

You say its originating around the drain plug but only leaks at cruising speed? Can you actually see the water coming in, while you are cruising? If you just see the water pooling around the drain plug, while cruising, that's the natural flow of the water and the leak could be coming from anywhere. How much water are you talking about?

The only way you are going to find the leak is by looking for it while running. It may not even be from the engine, could be from the engine vents, or even the rub rail if the wake hits it at times when turning.
