Boat Cover for protection

I have a 2005 Kayot V220 deck boat which currently sits in the water all summer (only on a trailer to go in and get out of the water). It came with a cover with snaps which fits great and keeps the boat protected but it's a pain to put on and take-off every day we use the boat.

Any better options? I'm looking for boat protection without the pain of snaps.

Thanks for your help this forum is the best!

Re: Boat Cover for protection

I have a 21' BR. We did not wnat the snap covers on our new boat, so we ordered without. (bad experience with a snap and a big toe one 4th of July:eek:) Instead, when we got the boat, we took it to the marina and had a custom fitted cover made for it.
When we put it on at the dock, it's a breeze. Use a couple of milk jugs with water to hold the cover on during storms...never had a problem.
Also, we trailer alot and the cover is great.
If you have one made, shop around. Make sure they know what you are looking for as far as primary use. They should also know to reenforce any rub areas etc.etc.

We paid a litter more for ours than most of the qoutes, but we were very pleased with other covers he had made and it came with a five year warranty and was guaranteed up to 75mph on the road.
Good luck.
