Boat Cover options

I just purchased a 2006 180br crownline. So now I am needing a boat cover.

I am keeping the boat on a boat lift under a metal roof. I do not need it for trailering but to keep the sun and elements out.

I was looking the covers here on Iboats and saw many options. Should I get a custom or semi custom? Is the custom going to be hard to put on since the boat is on a lift in the water? Or should I get a semi custom to save money since it is under a metal roof already and I assume they are easier to put on. Do they pull tight with a rope in the front or back?

What brand and fabric do you think is my best option? I was thinking Westland Sharkskin.

Re: Boat Cover options

if you want an exact fit. try to get the bow and cockpit covers from Crownline. the aftermarket, even custom are not going to be custom fit, they are made for several lines of boats in that configuration.
