I have a 16' 6" 72 v163 glastron. I am looking to get a boat cover. They have one for 16' to 18' for ski boats. This should be the correct one. I am assuming my boat is classified as a ski boat?

Re: Boat cover question.

Just make sure it fits the type of boat you have. V hull or Tri-hull and inboard/outboard or outboard. If it is to generic it will not fit well and will collect loads of water when it rains and snows. Also keep in mind most of those generic covers are not made to be used when towing the boat.

Re: Boat cover question.

Any cover can be made to work but generics tend to fit a little too loose so proper support poles are essential. If even a small puddle is allowed to form on a cover, that puddle will continue to grow pulling the cover down which makes the puiddle bigger until either the cover tears or it sags so badly you cannot remove it until you drain the water off. Plastic pipe with a cap on the end makes a good, lightweight pole. There are also an abundance of adjustable aluminum poles with rubber tips.
