07 Chaparral Sunesta 214 Looking for a boat cover that is easy to use and would be ideal for leaving the boat out overnight with, like in a slip. Was thinking of a snap in bow/cockpit type cover. Other than Chaparral, does anyone know where to look for one of these?

Currently use a sharkskin strap down to the trailer type, its great on the trailer but thats about it.

Look in your yellow pages for Tent and Awning services. Also speak to your marine shops for local recommendations.

it is a custom cover, either Chap. or canvas shop or as above. i have them on my Chris Craft deck boat. they are fantastic. you can also use the bow cover in bad weather or rough water.

Why not use the current cover? I agree with TD, having the bow cover is great when it is cold, but you can use your full cover to accomplish this. Use shock cord and attach to the places where it connects to the trailer, and place snaps that attach to the hull. I have a similar set-up as you, it sounds, as the nylon straps attach all around the boat for trailering. Cover fits snugly to the boat, and several snaps down each side below the rub rail hold it fast when in the water.
